Age Limit Criteria for Medical Assistant Airmen
For Medical Assistant Trade (10+2):
An unmarried candidate who must have been born between 01 July 2006 and 01 July 2010 (both dates inclusive).
For Medical Assistant Trade (Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy):
- Unmarried Candidate: Must have been born between 01 July 2003 and 01 July 2008 (both dates inclusive).
- Married Candidate: Must have been born between 01 July 2003 and 01 July 2006 (both dates inclusive).
Upper Age Limit: 21 Years

Medical Assistant Trade (10+2 Level):
Candidates who have passed 10+2 / Intermediate or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English securing at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English, or completed a two-year vocational course with non-vocational subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English) with the same minimum marks from a recognized board, are eligible for this recruitment.
Medical Assistant Trade (Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy):
Candidates must have passed 10+2 / Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English securing at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English, and also possess a Diploma or B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% aggregate marks along with valid registration from the State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
Physical and Medical Standards
Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
- For candidates up to the age of 21 Years: 1.6 Km run to be completed within 7 minutes.
- For candidates above 21 years of age and holding Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy: 1.6 Km run to be completed within 7 minutes 30 Seconds.
Other Physical Requirements:
- Height: Minimum 152.5 cms
- Chest: Should be well proportioned and well developed with the minimum range of expansion of 5 cms.
- Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF.
- Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
- Visual Standards: 6/36 each eye, correctable to 6/9 each eye; Maximum limits of Refractive Error Not exceeding + 3.50D including Astigmatism.
